infection, constipation, overfeeding and stress/shock. It could also be caused by bacteria or parasites.

Epsom Salt for Swim Bladder Disease

Epsom salt is a great, low risk way to try and provide relifed to a betta’s constipation.

1)Add 1 tablespoon of epsom salt to 2 litres of conditioned water (1/2 gallon) in a plastic jug. Stir to dissolve.
2)Replace the water from the tank into the so its the same temperature.
3) Let your betta swim it for 10 minutes.
4) If your bettas constipated isnt over, put him back in the tank.
5)Make sure your fish is OK in the bath, if he taps out, add him back into the tank.
